Hello people,
I've trolled google trying to find which bike to use for the Ironman 70.3 down in Wimbleball in June. I have seen a few pics of people using TT bikes but without knowning how good they are I cant tell if it would be beneficial for me to use one or use my road bike.
I did the Ballbuster Duathlon last month on my Trek madone as I wasnt sure about getting up the hills on the TT however wish I have used it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Im going to do a couple of hilly rides on my TT (Planet X Stealth) over the next few weeks to see how I feel, did a 40 miler the other day (fairly hilly) and the times compared to my road bike were about the same so not sure I will benefit until I get more rides in.
Thanks for the help, will make the decision in a couple of weeks.
If your looking for a Tri bike that climbs and handles well, try looking at the new Valdora PHX bike. Has had good reviews regarding climbing. Reviews and details can be found at http://bikesales4u.com/ and http://bikesales4u.posterous.com/. PM if you want more info. .

On a less extreme geometry TT bike, p-x being a good example, it may be a different story.
I'm comfy on my 'soft' TT bike on just about any road.
Best answer.... try it and see.
