Getting better all the time!...

In my first ever event 2 years ago, I was beaten into last place by the blind lady.

(Somebody has to be last, I thought... Things can only get better!)

In the Blenheim Sprint this year - I wasn't last (!!!), but I WAS beaten on the run by a HUGE lady (she was as big as a door - a door on it's side!), an actual OAP and a lady with a fractured foot...

Gotta smile!

    OAP not in your age group so some consolation there and she probably had a naked carbon zimmer ... and the fractured footer - obvioulsy on pain killers and who knows what else - how can you compete with that?
