Tubular or Clincher

I have been looking at getting some aero wheels for my bike. There are more options if I move to tubs. But is this a relic of the past, suitable for those with support cars. Or are they still better considered better cornering and faster rolling?

All opinions welcome.

I was rather liking the look of the Planet X Pro Carbon 82/101 Wheelset. Anyone have experience of these?
