Training Plan

Hi everyone

I have entered IMUK 2011, and it will be the first time at this distance. I have done 1/2s and ran Nottingham marathon this year.
Does anybody know where a decent training plan can be found? I have had a look but seem to just find 'tips' and very sketchy guides. Im not the best at making one up myself so was looking for a training plan already made up with distance/time to train etc. I work in leisure so I can be failry flexible with training hours.

Sorry if this has been posted lots before! Any help really appreciated.

Thanks

Andy

    Try

    plans for everything.
When you get a plan, have a plan B,for when the wheels come off,a plan C for when the injuries kick in,and a plan D for when you don't want to lose face but must finish.

What plans fail to tell you,is what to do in the weeks following the race to deal with post race depression,DNF's,DNS's,and active recovery.
Don't stop at the finish line, look to do some races after the IM,utilise the fitness gained, four to six weeks recovery and build up back to competitive level.

I used a book called 'Be Ironfit'. It became my bible and was highly recommended by lots of other people.

    Good luck.
