Cycle shorts

I've just bought some cycle shorts for training in and this may sound like a daft question but i'm going to ask it anyway.

Should you wear underwear with them or not?

    Not stupid at all. I dont. As long as they are a good pair with good protection!!! All i shall advise is to use some anti chaffing cream for the longer rides. I use Udderly and it works a treat. Hope this helps a little.

    Assos chamois creme for me-with the added bonus of 2 minutes tingly sensation after application...

    He he.. I remember quietly asking the assistant in the LBS the same thing when I bought mine! Same as Tri shorts, though perhaps more obvious in that case if you're swimming in them.

    Nothing underneath - use dderly or other similar chamois cream - or buy Sudocrem (Cheaper and does a similar job)
