New half iron event in the NW just been set up, its on sept 4th in knutsford, arranged by uberfit events.
charity event for all abilities.
ONLY £50 all in
relay teams welcome
only 100 places available
fast flat course apparently

    Sounds interesting but doing the Vit same weekend. May be of interest to those who didn't ge a place on the Vit, hope it goes well and a cracking price.

    yeah I know, just a shame it took the guy so long to get it all finalised, as, as you say most people will have their seasons booked in already.
    Think people are interested as its its first year and its more of a charity event than a race!!!
    hopefully people will see it on here and pass details on
    its main charities are macmillan nurses and a local one riding with disabled, and for the emergency services, purely cos it was a fireman who was originally arranging it. people could always sort their own sponsorship out aswel.
