wetsuit, legs too long!!!

Ive just bought a Aqua sphere Icon Ironman wetsuit, its a bit long in the legs for me and i was wondering if its possible to trim a few inches off?
There is a seam about 3 inches up from the bottom of the legs, was hoping to trim 1.5-2 inches off.Has anyone done this with this make of suit before.

    I have a foor wetsuit and the legs and arms are trimable on that. Give the seller a ring or the maker to find out before the first cut.

    As long as you dont go past the end of the taped area cut as little or as much as you like off it.
