Mre than happy to help in ay way I can
Is is hard - good god yes
Is it worth it - more than you can possibly imagine
See how he goes mate. We had to substitute Ewan for a firefighters weighted rescue dummy for part of the bike for our middle distance
Safety is key
Testing things in race situations allows mistakes to be made. How is his bottom going to cope sat down for that long ?
If he becomes unwell - what's your plan ?
Heat ? How are you going to keep him hydrated and fed ?
Are you going to carry all yor supplies with you ? Are you ok and trailer maintenance ?
believe me the logistics of racing will give you sleepless nights.
I can't emphasise enough about planning , more planning and then more planning

Yep - glad he remembers me - advanced elements kayak - superb bit of kit. I use a custom chest harness ( a friend shipped it in from the states for me) no idea of its make.
Use a bungee though to tow in the water cos a) it floats and b) it won't tug the kayak with every stroke.
