Chrissie retires

Sure you've seen about Chrissie's retirement (http://www.220triathlon.com/news/chriss ... on-retires) but what do you make of the news?

What's next for Chrissie?
What's her major achievement in tri (either racing or away from the tri course)?
And is there a chance will we see her again on the Kona start line (her coach Dave Scott returned after all)?

We'll run some of the answers in the next issue of 220.

Yours in sport, Matt

  • I bet she attempts a solo RAAM
  • If you read her biography, you will see that she is a person with a very special personality. I think that fame and personal success are not what mark her main goals. She is highly invloved in many NGO projects and I am sure she will be looking to do something to help others, as she has done before.
As for the Ironman. Well we all know that once we finish one we swear never to go back to it but it's only a matter of days before we are back to 5:00am wake-up call for training!
