Aero Helmet
DDTTRI

Hi, I am considering purchasing a TT helmet and I am looking for some advice.
It will be used for TT's of 10 to 26 mile routes and Olympic distance triathlons.
My priorities are (sadly) price, ventilation and fit. Like most Triathletes my Wife strictly monitors my Tri spending (that’s what she thinks) , so budget is around 100-150. I am also a sweaty athlete so good ventilation is vital.
Lastly I currently ride a road bike with clip on bars, not a TT bike. So the helmet needs to unobtrusive when not in an aero tuck/a less aggressive position, where possible. I’m not too worried aesthetics; it can be pink if it fits my requirements!
I hope someone can make some good suggestions!

giro air attack? or perhaps something with a tt-cover, so a catlike mixino with the cover (might still be more than 150 notes, though.
Casco Speedster is it
S Works evade £160 ( i know but the write ups are excellent)

You have to realise that true Aero Helmets in the lower weight range weigh more than a standard helmet, so over longer courses they become uncomfortable and hot. with the air attack, speedster, and evade are very good helmets. I would not recommend a covered standard helmet, they get hot, very hot, and a majority would agree that if you start to overheat your performance drops.
2nd the S-Works Evade
S Works evade or the TT2. The TT2 can be bought on ebay for about £100 new.
