Beat the Demon - Tenerife
Hey folks,
I've entered the above race which will be my second middle-distance race after Stafford 70.3 next month. I did see it take place last year in Tenerife and am reasonably ok with the swim and run (heat not withstanding!). The bike is the real worry having not had chance to experience the route, other than a previous car journey up Teide, though probably not on the same roads. Having read about the 2500m plus of climbing and some potentially tricky descents I wondered if anyone on here had any experience of the race/bike route and could offer any advice pls. Not even sure whether it's a good idea to use the TT bike or a road bike given the terrain!
cheers,
Mark
