Road bike / pedal advice

Hi all,

I’ve done a couple of sprint tris and have a few more pencilled in and am looking to upgrade to something a bit racier than my current 2nd hand bike. Looking for something that will be quick for triathlons but also durable enough to handle a couple of commutes a week (10 miles each way), all within a £1000 cyclescheme budget!

 Is this any good?

Also looking at a few on Ribble (Evo Pro, Sportiva Racing, Sportiva Carbon, Sportiva Racing), again any advice you have would be much appreciated:

Thanks!

Dont go for cheap carbon. For your budget get aluminium. It is reliable, rides well (better than cheap carbon) and is usually lighter than cheap carbon too.
