Wintry cycling gloves recommendations?

Perhaps this should be in the 'Wanted' section but it's so lonely in there. Anyone got any recommendations for gloves that'll keep my hands warm on the bike this winter? It was decidedly autumnal this morning so I thought I'd get on the case early....

Lets face it people, all year has been winter so really most summer bikes have been locked away in a warm cupboard and we've all been on the winter hacks 99% of the time.

How about a thread what lights do you use????

Race blades, has anyone actually fitted them and managed to ride more than a mile before they start rubbing?

Sorry sorry sorry, that should be on the winter bike set up thread, as for winter gloves, has anyone tried seal skinz, i find that anything more than my ron hill cotten gloves under a pair of fingerless mitts and my hands sweat too much..even when the frost was down last year.

As a Raynaud's sufferer I'm very interested to hear people's recommendations for gloves (and shoes for that matter). For those that don't know: Raynaud's is a problem with circulation to the extremities, i.e. your fingers and toes are in f***ing agony when it's a tad nippy. Any suggestions?

I ordered some sort of lobster glove things (Gore radiator is the technical term) and am hoping they'll do the trick - thanks treefrog!

My other half has Reynaud's and uses neoprene overshoes when it's cold. You just can't overdo it, apparently; cold feet are even more unpleasant than worrying that you'll look like you've got some kind of madness on your feet.

I use specialised long figer gloves until it gets colder..then the same but with silk liner gloves inside (decathlon do some), & when frosty I have lobsters which took me a while to get used to, but they are warm.

I use toe covers until frosty & then neoprene booties with endura thermolite socks, & non vented mountain bike shoes.
