Deep pool running - Any good?

Anyone tried this? I am currently not running due to a stress fracture in my foot and am considering this as an alternative. (I note that Helen Tucker is a fan and has used it when injured.)

    If you can find somewhere to do it, then yes it's good. After my last knee op my other half bought me an AquaJogger: One of the blue float belts that you see used for deep pool running. Helped me a lot.
