just back from the doc.....stress fracture in my left foot.
Can only just about walk with a severe limp.

Anyone been through one of these? How long is the recovery? Not sure if this means that my Roth dream for 2011 is dead......

I think that IronKav (who i've not seen about here for a while) suffered the same before IMCH last year. not sure how far out it waas - it may well have been more than 45 days. But he managed to do the race, and finished. Not sure if he's still about here to give any details though

Bad news mate.I'm no doc or physio but i'd rest it if i were you and just bike if you can and swim if you can,but deffo no running.You should already be pretty run fit and the biking and swimming will keep your fitness levels up,depending on whether you're running for a good time or just to finish i wouldn't be overly concerned too much about running.Hope that makes sense and helps in any way.Good luck

thanks guys, we'll see. Right now the trip from the couch to the fridge is a tough one....quite sore, so can't imagine any cycling or swimming.
Maybe in a few days, fingers crossed.
