Tri One Ltd. are pleased to announce The Bison, a new annual event to be held for the first time on October 8, 2016, at Dunstable Downs, Bedfordshire. The course is a challenging mix of off-and on-road action over Bison Hill and through the beautiful countryside. For athletes who are looking for a seriously tough challenge, the UK’s newest duathlon is one not to miss.

Tri One are partnering with the Triathlon Trust, the official charity of British Triathlon, with £5 of each entry going to the Trust.

One of the sponsors is the Tring Brewery, award-winning beer brewers, who will create an event-specific Bison Beer available to all participants. More local sponsors are being approached.

Entries to The Bison are limited to just 500 places across the full Bison, Baby Bison and Team Relay distances, making this festival styled event a must-do race on the 2016 calendar.

Distances available:

The Bison and Team Relay (13k run-30k bike-13k run)

The Baby Bison (6.5k run-10k bike-6.5k run)

Medals and goodie bags will be given to all finishers, with prizes for the top 3 male and female winners and prizes also for each 5 year age group winners.

The event has the full support of the National Trust, is pending approval from Triathlon England and will be run annually. It will be on the “must do list” of any respectable endurance athlete.
