T1 question

Hi I'm doing the Staffs Ironman in a couple of weeks, I'm type 1 diabetic and wear an insulin pump. It's just dawned on me that I'm going to need to take the pump off just before the swim and put it back on in T1. Problem is T1 is at the other end of the lake so won't be able to put the pump in my T1 transition bag just before the swim. Will there be any officials (that I can trust) that can take the pump to my T1 bag whilst I'm swimming? Or any other ideas? Only thing I can think of is to put the pump in a watertight bag and put it in the pocket on my Tri suit under my wetsuit? Not ideal but at least it's with me all the time Cheers
