After illness advice

Hi, I am 8 weeks out from my second ironman and have been unable to train for the past 3 weeks, can anyone offer any advice about how to re start my training without burning myself out by over doing it, getting a little panicky now with it so close.

Any advice greatly appreciated.



  • I'd just write off what you've missed and carry on your training block as if you'd done what you need to do. three weeks is quite a bit and you certainly dont want to try to pack it all into a short window!

    Provided you dont miss anything major that you;d planned in those three weeks you;re probably in better shape than you realise?
