Talkback: 10 essential pool swim drills for triathletes

I have been doing some of these drill and also a drill I found called the zipper swim drill! Apart from feeling like I was about to drown the first time I did the fist swim I think they are helping my technique - I have a question though..... when I do any of the drills on my side my whole body sinks below the water but this isn't a problem when I swim normally and I do not have sinking legs....so what's going on? I would guess that it is exaggerated in the drills (as that is what they are for) but I can find lots of ideas/articles about how to stop sinking legs but nothing that relates to me. Any advice would be appreciated as I would guess this is having a negative impact on my swimming.
