compression socks

I trying to find out the best(cheapest) place to find some compression socks as my calfs are giving me grief and I have been told that these will help me recover and stop them aching

I have just been into up and running leeds and the only ones they have are the skins abd they cost £25

I think they do work, although i'm not 100% on how much they help (and have nothing really to compare them against) partly because I have had some calf problems anyway which is down to wrong running shoes and weak ankles. I do think they had an effect on recovery for my good calf at least.

Can you get to Sports Shoes Unlimited in Bradford? It's just opposite the town hall under the multi-story carpark. I got some 1000 mile comp socks not so long ago (November or December). They were either £9.00 or £12.00. Can't remember which! The prices are pretty much the same as on the website (they do most of their business mail order now), so check it out.

I got my Saucony Xodus grid there for £50 in January!

OK - I give in - tried these to do run, spin run yesterday, calves felt good throughout no feelings of must stop legs hurting - then wore linebreak leggings for 3 hours and this morning the usual stiffnes I would have has been greatly reduced!!!
