Bontrager RE-1 Pedals - Which Shoes?

Hello, I'm an absolute newbie to Triathlon and have just purchased a Giant OCR-3 bike second hand. It's amazing on the road but it's got standard pedals and my feet move around all over the place. I'd like to try using clip-on shoes and got some Bontrager RE-1 pedals with the bike but need some advice about the sort of shoes I can use with these pedals. Reviews seem to say "SPD" but looking at the soles of shoes for sale I can't understand how they slot in.



Any advice and links to budget shoes would be most appreciated.
