when does the uk season really finish?

So 1st season at this, will have completed 2 sprint tri's which was the original goal, however the gap between 1st and 2nd i now realise was too long and i lost motivation on trianing until the next one got closer...(6 weeks from now)
so long winded way of saying how long does the UK tri season go on for?...not looking to step up until OD next year......but do fancy getting a 3rd in before the dark nights descend!...

    the season never really finishes,you can pick up events throughout the year.There are a couple on New Years day.The OW season in the UK is generally May thru to end Sep.

    Doesn't really end, when the weathers crap, and it's soo cold to cycle straight from OW or pool, then there's always Duathlon's. But don't forget, "those who can, Tri, those who can't, Du"

    Then there's all the madmen races, ToughGuy etc
