Help needed...back issues.

Afternoon all.

I'm after a bit of advice on the core strength front. In recent races, having been in an aero position on the bike, I start the run okay but end it in pain in my lower back? Can anyone recommend specific exercises to target this problem? I know pilates is a good idea but do crunches or the plank/bridge exercise suffice (limited on time unfortunately)? Could it actually be something else like a bike fit problem (although i tend to feel good on the bike)?
