200 km's over 2 days with over 11,000ft of ascending...
BucksMTB in partnership with Extreme Energy are delighted to introduce an EXTREME distance multi-day Mountain Biking Challenge following the oldest roadway in the UK, dating back to 3000BC.
This event marks BucksMTB's 10th Anniversary!
The route follows the mountain bike route of the Ridgeway path from Wendover in Buckinghamshire to Swindon in Wiltshire, and back again!!
A tough but fun weekends mountain biking with everything except the cycling taken care of by the BucksMTB/Extreme Energy team.
This is not a race but a timed event with the opportunity to earn a Gold, Silver or Bronze standard. Riders will be set off in groups at 2 minute intervals.
The event is an ideal challenge both as a stand alone event but also for training towards MTB racing and triathlons along with training for bigger tougher challenges like those in the Alps for example.
The event is open to individuals or teams, and is open to both mountain bikers and cyclo-cross riders and is an ideal event for those training for triathlons.
