New Bike for First Ironman

Any suggestions for first timer looking for comfort over speed and not just for race but all those long training rides.Just looking to getting round Ironman UK course and enjoying it. price range 1k- 1.5k Max

I have been using a Giant OCR Team Replica for the last 4 years

Any thoughts on Specialized Roubaix or Giant SCR C3 ?

Hi Petey - I've got the SCR 2 from Giant - comes in at around £550. Not sure if you are looking for something abit higher spec but I think she's a great bike - very responsive and decent components.

Planning on racing the Half Ironman on her this year then the full monty next.

No complaints at all - had to put clipless pedals and an aero bar on but these came from my last bike. Comfortable and nippy, does the job !
