When i ride i carry two bottles.
One is filled with GO SIS-PSP22 Energy the other water.
Now i did the Highworth Triathlon ride route yesterday, it was a warm day and at the end of the ride, both bottles were empty.
So i did the run route without having taken on extra fluid.
Now the question is, how do you experianced guys, keep yourselves hydrated, do you have a bottle waiting that you take on before you start the run. ( if so whats in it).
AND HOW MANY BOTTLES DO YOU CARRY
I have tried taking gels and bars both of which just make me feel sick.
If i am to progress the distance i can ride i need to obviously get this sorted.

Experiment (I hate Hi 5) and execute your plan in training - this is VITAL
The one shown from wiggle cost £25 but if you shop around you can buy cheaper, you can also get one which fits to a round seat post, but you need to make sure you have the right seat post diameter.
Another trick I use when its really hot is to drink 500ml of isotonic drink Isostar/SIS Go etc the night before, just before I go to bed.
*The Bikestream is the neoprene bag fitted behind the seat and has a rubber bladder inside and is empty in this pic. There is a bite valve on the bars.
