Seeing as you put it like that, I will buy it! I just hope they have my size in it, mind you, Gavin the bike man did say he'd fit the bike properly - he should for that money lol!
I guess my only comment would be that the groupset seems a little low-spec for the price. For the money, I reckon the Focus Cayo from Wiggle is better value: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Cycle/7/Focus_Cayo_Ultegra_2009/5360037590/ but if you are buying from a local shop then you get the benefit of a proper bike fit.....
I haven't bought the Kuota yet, the manager in the shop told me that next week he'll be getting some Focus and Scott bikes in so I'm going to wait and see what turns up.[:D]

I'm in the market for my first bike and was wondering if this:
http://www.theedge-sports.com/acatalog/Kuota_Kharma_RRP_1695.html would be overkill?
I've debated long and hard about Giants, Treks et al but thought, in for a penny.
Any comments/thoughts?
great bike. i wish i had the money to but somthing like that. if you can , do it.
One more question, is the price competitive?
that should give you an idea.
either way. they are nice lads in that tri shop. even if it cost the same, i would still give my money to them.
i wonder do i still have my 10% discount card.....
Anyone else wish to comment on this potential purchase?

If you're getting a bike for tri racing then I would have advised getting something tri specific.
Did you get the Kuota?
looks fast. wish i had the flexability to ride such a bike. i gotta stick to the roadie.

Now obviously the Scott will be more expensive, but is it the better option?
