So went for my usual lunchtime swim training. Timings are a bit tight:
6 minute walk to leisure centre
2 minute change
30 minute swim
2 minute shower
5 minute change (hot conditions)
6 minute walk back to office
9 minute spare just in case!
During my change for swim, i took off my shoes and thought 'if I leave my shoes unlaced and loose i can slip feet in quickly, and if i roll my socks i can get them on quicker'
All in all, I feel I am managing to get transition practise in too! result!

And also think about going sockless if you're doing short distances.
Then you'll have an extra two minutes of your lunch hour!
I'd kill for a stand down of an hour everyday.
Count yourself lucky and well done for the swimming.
I've got them for my Brooks ST3's and they are bloody brilliant. Well worth £4.
An absolute must

Clip the tie to your race belt and shorten it so it fits around your neck. And why are you walking to the swimming pool?
good point, I should leave bike there shouldnt I, then run to pool and bike back. wrong order though.....
