cycle route sites

Can anyone recommend any cycle route planning sites (something like 'map my run' but for bikes).... struggling to plan routes in or out of london that don't have too many traffic lights/junctions etc on them...

    There are quite a few routes that people have placed on here that have become staple rides for me. I've put a couple up myself. It's a nice site.

    Thanks for the question and the replies all.



    I cycled to Ricmond Park through Clapham Junction and Wandsworth at the weekend at it was like re-enacting Death Race 2000 at times!! These will be a big help.

    Try www.routeyou.com you can decide on pretty much everything , even down to if you want a scenic route!
