Open Water Swim near Aylesbury??

hi all,

just wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of the closest open water swim venue to Aylesbury? I HAVE to get in to the water, even though it will be bloomin' freezing!

    http://www.heronlakeswimmers.com/ it takes about 1/2 an hour to get there from Aylesbury 1st thing in the morning at the weekend.

    There's a lake in Marlow! Just off the A404 heading towards the M4!! The place is called Westhorpe Water Sports Centre!! Go to the Open Water Swim UK website for more info!Think it's open Sunday mornings and Monday evenings! As far as I know it's the closest to Aylesbury!!!!
