If people have found anything they've bought and would highly recommend then let everyone know here. My first one are my tyres, they're specialized armadillos. I've had these on my bike for a year now and not a single puncture. I cycle to and from work a couple of times a week, and it's 34 miles, I'm tempting fate now I know.
Here's someone elses review as well if you don't belive me.

If someone can recommend a road bike for between £1000-£1200 that would be great.
Nick expecting a puncture anyday now.

I used to get punctures just about every second ride, now use these for my training bike and like you, haven't had a puncture in ages.
For racing I use Grand Prix 4000s tyres, great rolling speed and v. grippy.
I have seem people pumping their little hearts out on side of the road in race and training situations. I just turn the knob and 5 seconds later 100 PSI.

Always have a bit of a nightmare fitting Gatorskins back onto Fulcrum 5's, this little gadget gets it done in under 30seconds. Best fiver you'll spend.
Recommended purchase-most recent goodie were Zoggs medium hand paddles, they beast your upper arms and I'm definitely faster as a result. Just have to get over the odd looks from the blue rinse brigade at Herne Bay pool.
ZipVit ZV3 Recovery Drink Rapide in Chocolate.

In fact I use (and like)most of zipvits products (Gels,Bars, energy drink), but the chocolate recoovery drink is the stand out product for me.
I ran out of it for a couple of weeks and my legs were killing me the day after a hard session. As soon as I was back on it the pain disappeared.
I have a big jar in my cupboard at all times and lots of little sachets of it stuffed in every bag I have.
I can't praise it highly enough.
Oh
And you usually get free gifts such as water bottle, race belt or bag if you order from http://www.zipvitsport.co.uk
