  Exeter Tri Club do a sea swim training session at Teignmouth (http://www.exetertri.co.uk/html/training.html) or try the Outdoor Swimming Society map here (http://wildswim.com/#Lake). Seems to be loads of lakes and spots around Dartmoor.

  Its a very good swimming source. There they have mentioned three options, swimming, biking and running. I do like biking more but I don't know whether they the biking training option or not. Anyway its good.
