Talkback: Can caffeine boost your performance in a triathlon?

I haven't had chance to read the full study yet, but how do you shave time off a 1 hour TT... Surely it must be distance added?

    i'm sure i read something (or perhaps it was a podcast... i'm getting forgetful), that caffeine can be effective but you are working against your body's tolerance. some advocate reducing or stopping caffeine intake ahead of key races to increase sensitivity to the supplements you use on race day.

    Also be aware that Caffine can help, promote and bring on 'Carb unloading'  some thing to bare in mind for longer events.
