Winter Tyres

My understanding is that tread doesn't make any difference to traction. I guess the fattest tyre that you can find might help slightly.

    Getting a bit wet and slippery out there. Any tyre recommendations for commuting on mixed country and town roads?

    check out the tyres grouptest in the last 220 issue.

    Not a lot of difference in grip they state.
