If evans wont do it speak to Tri uk,in yeovil somerset.
I've scanned through the latest posts and can't see any that are similar to my ask: I'm after a new road bike after having had enough of my Giant OCR entry-level bike! It is the wrong frame size for me and my upper shoulders/neck always cramp up when I cycle over 80km. ... Need a new bike fitted to me and I have about £900 to spend.
What was the best bike around this price in 2008? I'm thinking of buying last year's model to save some cash so perhaps can look at some on sale which were originally priced over the £1000 mark.... I'd really appreciate some advice from the experts though.
I need something which will be great to ride for long 100km+ training rides and that will perform well in sprint and Olympic distance triathlons. My big goal is a Half-Ironman at the end of the year.
......what to buy?
Cheers! AB

Can you let me know how your research goes?-your requirement seem very similar to mine and I'm going to be going through the same process starting May/June. Would be interesting to hear what you think of bikes in this price bracket (reading reviews the Boardman Carbon at £999 is the winner, but reviews aren't always the most accurate).
Stay on this thread!

Their web-site is pretty appalling, though, and only provides an old link to an article which refers to an out-of-date spec. I can forward a spec sheet if required.
I noticed that. It doesn't exactly invite you to buy anything!

Its better to buy from usa at the mo, more for the pound, with the rate of the euro you will get shafted
or if you hmf get down to
JHQ Rheindahlen and the american p/x if its still there, if your not they should let you in on your uk driving licence.
let us know what you get and where you get it
