And Conehead didn't even mention the discounts available, oh, and the coolest club kit ever. Fact.
Shameless plug complete.
I've also been supported, encouraged, cheered, hugged and goosed by complete strangers. What more could you want?
And, as mentioned, we have the best tri-kit in the known universe. Fact.
another that wears a pink mankini.
one more that tows a canoe in swim training.
one of the above also manages to mangle bikes in self mechanic mode even worse than a blind, no fingered cretin on downers could manage. (WADR to blind, no fingered cretins on downers).
somebody that rides horses for days on end non stop for fun.
a member that gets blown backwards on his bike in a headwind.
plus one that enters every race available including the one legged teeth climbing Eiger challenge.
not forgetting another that turns up to races a day earlier than everybody else.
and a top selling author.
what more could you POSSIBLY want in a club?
didds
Sounds good and being tempted leaves me with a slight dilema.
If one is a member of a local tri club and wears their attire, what happens then come race day?
Which way do you swing?
Pat...
Thanks you for the post.
I take it those World Champion stripes are an attempt at irony..............

they are not world champ stripes, but a rainbow.
Living in deepest, darkest Wiltshire I'm mid way between the clubs in Frome, Bath and Salisbury but would be keen to join a club that doesn't necessarily take itself too seriously but has a laugh. I've come across PSOF and saw lots of them at the Vit and saw a few BCTTT shirts as well.
Are there many people in and around Wiltshire ? And would I benefit from joining the club ?
bcttt was formed off the back of the complete cluster fuck of this forum. This place decided to upgrade the forum and locked everyone out so you had to re-register again. So when most of the "regulars" dissapeared we formed our own club and bcttt was born. It was the idea of certain conehead to be fair and he made it happen.
So essentially the BCTTT forum is full of the old 220's regulars and we have now formed a club where the ethos is essentially propping up the back of the pack so that others don't have to. We don't care if you are slow, learning the ropes, fast, fat, skinny... what you will find is a group of like minded people who love triathlon.
Will you benefit from joining a club - yes.
There are a few of us in the south west and meeting for a ride should happen more. It always something we could organise if you want a trip out.
Would you benifit from joining? Yes you would. Theres loads of great advice to be gained. Nearly all of us came from this foum once and migrated across due to the spam on here and just have a good laugh now. The club social in Nottingham this year for the relays was awesome.
